Boy, this is hard work.....

My comments were not critical of the publication, but of
_how_people_interpret_the_contents, ie, accepting everything
that appears on TV or in print as immutable fact, without
questioning the depth of research, the motivation of the author,
and sometimes even the rationality of the article amongst other
things.

Roy quoted "thousands, and thousands, and thousands, and
thousands, and thousands of UFO sightings" to support his
contention that UFOs must be extraterrestrial in origin (not
extradimensional, extratemporal, or just mistaken
identifications). I effectively suggested that he shouldn't
simply accept the stories that he reads (eg in FSR or UFO
Magazine) at face value without considering the questions
mentioned above.
