Roy, I am surprised that you couldn't answer the question for
your "friend of FSR", since you didn't query what I meant at the
time. However, I will spell it out for you both.

My remarks in the message which was posted to the List on 13th
November 2003 were in direct response to your post at:

http://www.virtuallystrange.net/ufo/updates/2003/nov/m12-013.shtml

in which you wrote:

"Is your point truly valid? All you have told me, is that you
have considered thousands, and thousands, and thousands, and
thousands, and thousands of UFO sightings, and pilot
testimonies, and government testimonies, and public testimonies,
and astronomer testimonies, and every kind of human walking on
this planet testimonies, video evidence, photo evidence, radar
evidence, audio capture evidence, medical evidence still has not
convinced you of ET, now who is not being open minded, me or
you?"

Magazines and newspapers print stories and opinions mainly, and
not research. On the odd occasion when a magazine presents an
article as research, the so-called research does not always
stand up to scrutiny. I can think of at least two "major" cases
from Yorkshire to which that statement applies, and that is
without straining my memory whatsoever.

They are, however, often good sources on which to base follow-up
research.

To get back to the substance of my original post, I have been
in touch with Paul Whitehead of FSR, and he tells me that the
price of the CD-ROM does include UK postage, and also that a
discount of =A33 is currently being offered when the order is
accompanied by a magazine subscription, or ordered by an
existing subscriber, making it even better value.

For future reference, if there is anything in my posts that you
don't fully understand please feel free to ask for
clarification, ideally during the same year that I post!

Regards,

Joe
