Hi Everyone,

I, like AJ, was not surprised and being the co-editor of The
Australasian UFOlogist magazine I too know how hard one has to
work to keep it afloat.

Graham poured his Heart and Soul into his UFO magazine, as we do
with ours and as AJ does with his. But now Graham has gone, the
family are left with this enormous decision, where do they go
from here?

We all know a UFO magazine is not like Woman's weekly were all
you have to sell is the newest cake recipe or show pictures of
fat or thin movie stars - if only it was that simple. :>)

Christine, Helen, Louise and Russell have been under constant
pressure to keep up the Graham standard and in doing so they
have known they were under the watchful eyes of not only their
readers, but also their critics. The pressure to deliver the
goods in each issue would have been a tremendous strain on all.

So List, one must ask how can the family truly lay their
farther/husbands soul to rest if they are constantly trying to
be Graham's heart and soul in every issue. Think about it.

>AJ said: I have absolutely no doubt that all of them struggled
>and worked extremely hard to keep UFO Magazine UK alive,
>and it must have indeed been too much of a demanding task.

This is what Helen had to say to me.

"It's completely right what you said about a magazine having
a heart and soul, the only thing is that our magazines belonged
to my Dads heart and soul and now he's gone it hurts too much
to continue."

Helen we in the industry totally understand.

>Well, with these lines I intended to tell to you all, wherever

>idea of launching and keeping a UFO magazine is hardly a
>profitable business. It is barely a business. Rather, it is more
>like a passion that you have to work out, no matter what. Graham
>did so, working madly to keep the magazine running, day and
>night, seven days a week, with the help of his family - as do I.
>His life project is my life project, and as long as I am alive,
>Brazilian UFO Magazine will be running. After I die, I do not
>know.....

Well said AJ

Helen Christine remember this, "you can't please everyone, and I
and Robert thank you for the bottom of our hearts for trying.
