They are distinct from each other and from Crop circles. Faerie rings involve fungi. No fungi were found in the Delphos case that I use in my lecture. The soil was dried out down 14" in depth and would not absorb moisture nor support plant growth and of course a Flying Saucer was observed just over the area where the physical trace appeared. The ring had not been there prior to the observation of the saucer. In practically no case have there been saucers observed in conjunction with the crop circles... nor with the faerie rings. In addition, the CC are far more elaborate. Hockey pucks and basketballs can both be described as round objects but are hardly interchangeable. Stan Friedman
