Subject: Tell Jim Moseley Exactly What You Think Of Him!

Fellow Listbeings,

First, shhh! Not a word to Internet-phobic Jim Moseley about
this - yet. Now then.....

The months November 2003 through July 2004 ring in "Saucer
Smear" editor-publisher James W. Moseley's 50th year of
saucering, of telling it shockingly close to how it is in the
wonderfully weird world of ufology--50 madcap years as Serious
Ufologist (his Adamski expose, publishing "Saucer News"),
UFOhoxer (the Straith letter), Semi-Serious Ufologist (his 4-D
Theory, "Saucer Smear"), and Reigning Court Jester of The Field.
This makes Jim one of if not *the* longest surviving
continuously active "saucerer" on (this) planet! Love him or
hate him, there's no denying Jim Moseley, for better or worse,
has been and remains a Presence in ufology.

To mark this shockingly close to momentous occasion, "Smear" -

webmaster Steve Mansee, Ufotoonist Matt Graeber, and and I have
created the Official James W. Moseley 50th Anniversary Roast

We know that many of you have Moseley tales to tell, yarns
certain to recall glorious and inglorious past Moseleyean
ufological happenings and adventures to the minds of others, to
be shared, too. Now's the time and the Official Roast Page is
the place to tell it like it is or was. Post your thoughts,
memories, good wishes, photos, whatevers there - now, tomorrow,
and the next day. Sometime post-July, at a time and place yet to
be determined, all will be presented to Jim. We'll keep everyone
posted on the page as plans develop.

Please pass the word to all and sundry- -except our "vicitim,"
of course. Oh, yeah, and when you go to the roast page, you'll
find out why the exact beginning of Jim Moseley's 50 years of
saucering is somewhat and appropriately ambiguous.
