Yeah, I know. Dang it. I was taken by the original image too. So
much so that I even did some blowups with six different filters.
You can view my results if you want although they have no real
value anymore (at least to me).

As for the focus, all I can say is that both the right and left
images of the Nav Cam seem to be in focus to me. Try looking at
them stereoscopically.
