Given the broad umbrella of beliefs and theories (often based on little more than flawed evidence and faith) there's no question as to how large a target those in this field have become. If the Government keeps something secret, it must be related to UFOs. If there is some phenomenon that we can't explain or understand, if must be related to UFOs. If a disease suddenly begins to spread and cause problems for humanity, it must be caused by the evil government empire and thus, related to UFOs. This scatterbrained nonsense is the reason that many good researchers have left the field in disgust, which I guess leaves more room for the paranoia. Steve
