Hi, John:

I went by the photographer's testimony about the time he took
the photograph. I have found EXIF time and date data generally
unreliable.

I often rely on my daughter's digital camera as a back-up to my
digital camcorder because she gets pictures from other angles
while I videotape family get-togethers, etc. (I am an avid
scrapbooker/photo-album buff - "Precious Memories" is my little
business site, under construction). My daughter _never_ sets the
time and date correctly on her camera so I've learned to never
use the EXIF date/time data for her pictures. She's an amazing
artist tho!

I agree, no apologies necessary, Dan. I think Dan did an outstanding
job and had the guts to admit his mistake. You da man, Dan! ;>

Actually, I think we are beating a dead horse here and Bruce
probably has better things to do with his time. Personally, I am
through with the Whittlesea UFO and have filed it under
"unknown" until some real evidence is forthcoming.

We can speculate all day as to whether it 'looks' like a bird, a
bug or "flying saucer" but the bottom line is...we _do not_ know
what it was or was not. I prefer to spend my time working on
images and sightings with better photographs/video footage, at
least one eye-witness that actually saw the UFO (preferrably
multiple witnesses) and data that gives us clues as to what is
really going on.

I never expected an apology from you, John. I accept people as
they are.

You, John, are the one who approaches not only me but others
with this tremendous chip on your shoulder. As I've said before,
I refuse to stoop to that level - it gets us no where. I'm here
to discuss the information, that's all.

I understand now that you feel "insulted" when I disagree with
your contentions. Believe me, John, if I felt the need to insult
you, I would do so in such a way there would be no doubts as to
my intentions. I simply see this forum as a place to discuss and
debate, not argue and accuse.

If you could see my face in person during our discussions, you
would see me smiling and even laughing. I never take life that
seriously, it's too damned short. We are here for each other and
that's what's important. Please don't take it all so personally,
I don't. Let's just have fun and help each other learn. OK?

;>
