I don't find it odd at all especially since the images I sent them were multi-generational contrast-weak poor quality copies. As to not mentioning something they recognized, how many pilots look out a window of their cockpit and remark, ‘oh I see a wing’, if it’s part of their spacecraft that they’ve always known was there. As to wondering why it wasn’t retracted “after the last EVA’, let me say this as diplomatically as possible. The only Apollo CSM EVA on the flight hadn’t occurred yet, and you should have known that before alleging the opposite was true. James Oberg www.jamesoberg.com
