It has a been several months since I last updated my website.
Sorry, but once every few months seems to be the best I can do
these days. The main news is in the form of a linked article:

entitled "Walking A Tightrope". This article continues some
themes I discussed in a previous piece, "What Are They?" This
time, I discuss some of the dangers we face as a civilization
over the next twenty years; dangers which could well result in
an infrastructure collapse. If we can hang on, however, the
development of advanced machine intelligence will give us a very
wild ride indeed. Either way, the civilization we have now will
be unrecognizable - within the next generation or two. Big
changes are coming. There are some relevant UFO themes here, as
well. This article will appear in the December/January 2003
issue of UFO Magazine.

The other news is that I will be appearing on the Sci Fi channel
this Friday, October 12 for the new "In Search Of ..." series,
at 10 p.m. EST (although you should check your local listings
for other possible times). This interview was originally taken
in June of 2001, intended for the FOX network. FOX decided
against it at the eleventh hour, and the show sat for a year
until Sci Fi purchased all 8 episodes. I don't know whether any
new ones will be shot.

Overall, I was happy with the interview, as I remember it, but
do recall that the producers asked me several leading and
sensationalistic questions, as you might expect. I don't expect
to be quoted out of context (not too badly, at any rate), but
frankly, I am curious how they will portray what I said to them
about the concealment of UFO information within the classified
world.

In case you're wondering, Leonard Nimoy is _not_ the host of
this version; people who watch the X-Files, however, will easily
recognize Mitch Peleggi. Anyone who saw the premier episode last
week will notice that it has a decidedly FOX look and feel to
it.

I will be also appear on the Sci-Fi channel for a two-hour
documentary on the Roswell controversy. This will appear a total
of 8 times, I believe, starting on November 22 at 8 p.m. This
was a very professionally done documentary, from what I observed
at the studio. A high caliber group of people was involved in
this every step of the way.

Finally, I'll be in New Jersey to attend a UFO conference
(Bordentown) during this coming weekend and will be doing a book
signing at the Barnes & Noble book store in Clifton, NJ on
Monday, October 14 between 4 and 7 p.m. If you're in town, stop
