For many years, Pratt was an ardent investigator for the National Enquirer tabloid newspaper, and although we all have likely the same opinion of that paper's style and handling of UFOs, most people don't know that Pratt's actual investigations were thorough, detailed and susbstantive. Even according to Bob, what was printed often bore no resemblance to what he submitted to the editor. I have many trascripts of his interviews with UFO witnesses, and his subsequent write-ups, and I can say that his journalism was at a level far above what we usually see today. Bob's website is chock full of his stories of case investigations, hair-raising flights over the Brazilian jungles, meetings with extraordinary people and the way ufology developed over the years. At the very least, it's a great autobiography of one of ufology's most prominent advocates. How many names of regular posters on UFO mailing lists can you find in the stories and acknowledgements? Okay, so he spelled "Edmonton" wrong. Bob Pratt's autobiography can be found at: http://www.bobpratt.org Nobody in particular
