I've no doubt that Kemble was a sincere person. But I think the
critical sentence here is: "His interest in the subject was that
he did not want to see the 'true paranormal experience of the
universe itself God's creation' get lost in a flurry of
distracting false claims."

What precisely is he saying? That UFOs are nonsense and must be
done away with because they "interfere" with "God's creation" as
he knows it? That's exactly the sort of shizophrenic attitude
I've noticed among Christian debunker-zealots.

You don't have to be a ranting nut to display symptoms
of ufological cognitive dissonance.
