I know but, it's just that I have this thing about trying to
reason with people.

What do you do when people with whom you are trying to reason
are, er, unreasonable?

I guess laughter is as good a reaction as any. That tends to be
my reaction every time he lists Donald Menzel, Phil Klass, and
Robert Sheaffer (Scheafer, Scheaffer) as his idols.

How could anyone that totally undiscriminating ever be right?

As you have pointed out on this List, though, even a stopped
clock is right twice a day. So here's to chronically stopped
clocks and lots of laughter.
