Tim-

I don't think there's any question that some unidentified flying
objects were mis-identified experimental aircraft (black project
or otherwise), but do you contend that a majority of such
sightings were really "Black Project" related? If that's so, I'd
like to see a comparison of test flights and UFO reports to back
it up. That's the problem with a CIA article put out in the mid
90's, which alleged that many UFO reports were actually flights
of the U-2. We now know when those flights took place and they
don't really take place at the same time as many sightings. This
also doesn't explain many of the structured craft descriptions
given by military and police witnesses in the 50's and 60's.

Just as I expect those who allege an ET connection to UFOs to
have definitive evidence, I would also expect that of those who
allegedly have a mundane explanation. Just because one
explanation might be easier to accept shouldn't result in
greater credibility (IMO).
