Hi Alfred,

I shold have mentioned the resounding thud heard during the
suspension of Air Regulations during a present day UFO report
made by pilots.

First case - no UFO. A close encounter of one airliner by
another during same direction altitude through Oceanic control
at 29,000 feet results in reems of paperwork and possible
reprimand for some Captain. The distance - 123 nautical miles
where it should have been 125 nautical miles of separation.
Further action recommended - YES.

New case - days apart. Controlled airspace less than 25 miles
from Toronto Center. Opposite traffic same altitude less 1,000
feet, bright white ball type object passes underleft wing of
aircraft. Pilot reports. He's asked by ATC, what type of
aircraft was it? Response - It wasn't an aircraft. Further
action recommended - No. Just more cricket noises.

As you said Alfred take the UFO out of it and there are
regulations that have to be followed. It all falls apart once
the little suckers show up.

Best,

Don Ledger
