Dear friends,

How kind of James to forward the above demeaning comment
regarding the type of alcohol allegedly consumed by the
inhabitants of Bonnybridge?

Having lived my whole live in Scotland and having studied the
subject of ufology for nearly 20 years I feel that I am as
qualified as most on this List to comment. Scotland does have an
extremely high percentage of sightings for the population, but
for me what makes these sightings stand out from the crowd is in
their quality.

As Bruce M once remarked long ago on this List (think it was
that good man) that we are no longer satisfied with the strange
lights way in the distance and want the cherry on the cake
instead. Scotland has cherries by the bucket load.

Personally, I have had two close encounters whereas the craft in
question were within 100 feet. Easily close enough for me to
pick up a stone and hit them, and I'm a girl, I don't throw very
far. I have heard similar stories from literally hundreds of
people over the years. What we Scots also possess in spades is
the ability to witness other worldly phenomenon without feeling
the need to jump up and down and wet our knickers. I feel it is
an inbred mechanism that allows us just to say "well there they
go - and how beautifully."

I wrote to NIDS during this past New Year offering FOC
incredible footage take during the past few years in Scotland.
None of this video tape has been presented elsewhere before. I
asked if I may send it to them. Guess what, no reply. Maybe
Scotland is just too obscure for them and they are not
interested in cherries!

Bottom line is that UFOs are here in Scotland, but don't expect
us to turn cartwheels trying to state our case when the blame
will fall on the 'Buckie'.

Kindest regards,

Jeanne Mackay
Scotland
