We need a way to get a question asked of the majority of the
population. I wish the Census Bureau would place a question like
this on their next questionnaire:

"Has anyone in your household experienced what is often referred
to as 'alien' abduction, or 'military' abduction?"

Since that isn't likely, can anyone think of a low cost method
of simply placing that question in front of a large percentage
of the population? If there are as many abductees as expected,
that could trigger a dramatic, 'critical mass' realization of
what has been going on quietly for so long.

(By the way, my experience in a similar field is that asking
such a question anonymously can increase the response rate, and,
a majority of responders do supply their names anyway.)
