Hi Steve,

You were going great up to here:

That was _me_ Steve! And we didn't feel "betrayed because they
took a skeptical stance." I'm fine with intellectually honest
skeptics. Always have been. My introduction onto this List six
years ago was because of the NOVA program where Budd first
presented my case to the public. As a result, EBK invited me to
participate in the ongoing discussion here at UpDates. But I

As many have repeatedly stated on this List (and I agree) there
is a difference between skepticism and debunkery. The NOVA
program was a poor attempt at 'debunking' the abduction phenom.
_That_ was, and always has been, my problem with it.

Thank you for restating my point. I agree. That is what I said
in the first place. But again, where else can the average person
sit back and listen to interviews with folks like the Mantell's?
Nothing in this world is 'all good' or 'all bad' for that
matter. TV programming included. I thought the Sightings segment
with the Mantell family was a _valuable_ broadcast document.
Regardless of how screwed up the rest of TV content may be. It
never pays to throw the baby out with the bath water. TV, as
with anything else, needs to be approached with a critical eye
and a modicum of discretion. :)
