Hi Paul! Thanks for posting this! What response have you had from the LA Times so far, if any, please? The second photo would appear to be a more realistic picture of search beams I suppose? Good luck, we really need that pic to study it! I'd really appreciate a copy if you do get one, please. Interesting that balloons are the official possible explaination for an unidentified object here. Suprising that the balloon could take direct (or even close) AA hits and stay airborne for so long? Were any balloon pieces found afterward? Or didn't they think of that for another decade? ;) Japan denies it launched balloons, so that should count that explanation out, assuming naturally, that they are telling the truth! Those AA gunners must have been real idiots or just paranoid for shooting at nothing or nothing more than a balloon for all that time! How I'd love to interview some of these Guys and other residents of LA from that period! I certainly don't take opposing views personally, I never do. I love intelligent debate and there are usually at least two sides to every story and one should know all the facts in order to form an opinion or belief of the truth. After all, isn't that why we are all here? Seeking the truth!
