International UFO museum opens in Istanbul


The "International UFO Museum of Middle and Eastern Europe, the
Balkans and the Middle-East," the first of its kind, opened in
Istanbul on January 18.

The museum is located right in the center of Istanbul, the
gateway between Asia and Europe. The aim of the project is to
inform Turkish citizens, and the millions of tourists who visit
Istanbul every year, about the UFO phenomenon. The museum caters
to people from all over the world, from ages seven to 70,
presenting them proof of UFO and extraterrestrial (ET)
phenomenon with various data, both in English and in Turkish.
The project has been supported by data and archival material
from hundreds of associations and institutions worldwide
conducting scientific research on this subject. The UFO museum
has three sections: the museum and exhibition section; the
library; and the video-VCD-DVD viewing room and meeting room.

Museum and Exhibition Section

In this section, hundreds of UFO incidents are documented and a
wide range of information about UFOs and ETs is exhibited
through photographs, pictures, illustrations and written
documents/texts, both in Turkish and English.

The display categories include: The UFO Chronicle of the World
and worldwide sighting map; information and animations on
archaeological ruins and traces, and epigraphs/inscriptions/
tablets; ancient cultures and their connections to ETs; Crop
Circles; Area 51 and other secret bases; Abductions; Animal
Mutilations; top secret official documents; NASA cover-ups;
MARS; research and analysis reports from important institutions
and universities; types of aliens and UFOs; Roswell; the Aztec,
Varginha and other incidents; national and international
newspaper-magazine articles and periodical archives; and
worldwide UFO reports and related issues.


Those who wish to get information or conduct research on UFOs,
extraterrestrial life and the universe, can take advantage of
the library, which contains over 1,000 books and magazines, both
in English and Turkish. Reading tables are also available.

Video-VCD-DVD Viewing Room and Meeting Room

Visitors have the opportunity to watch various related
documentaries and films, both in English and Turkish. There will
also be periodical conferences and seminars on UFOs and related
issues, given by national and international guest speakers.
