Mac,

Through the intervention of the French TV crew working on the
documentary that has since aired in Europe, I was allowed access
to the 'stacks' at the National Archives, College Park,
including drawers with many, many alleged 'artifacts'. As they
filmed me, I pulled out one drawer after another and found such
things as remnants of flares, slag, pieces of obviously earthly
metal, balloon fragments, etc., being carefuly preserved for
posterity. I will watch this program with interest, but won't
hold my breath. The amount of trash being preserved is mind-
boggling. At taxpayer expense, I might add.
