The UFO Sightings Working Group of the Italian Center for UFO
Studies has released the regular monthly update of the Italian
case log for the number of alleged UFO sightings in Italy.

Eighteen reports have been heretofore gathered on sightings
occurring during the month of April, while the number relative
to the first quarter of 2002 jumped to 110, and the total is now
739 for the year 2001, which was the object of a very UFO Wave.

The updated monthly statistics for the entire year of 2001 and
for the first four months of 2002 are already available on the
C.I.S.U Internet site (www.arpnet.it/ufo/cases2001.htm). Over
the next few days, an update will be posted of the complete case
listings (www.arpnet.it/ufo/cases0112.htm) as well as the
catalogs containing details of accounts and sources on each case
since January 2002 (www.arpnet.it/ufo/cases0201.htm).

[Communication by Giorgio Abraini; UFO-Italia, 10 May]

Hot off the presses is a new and illustrated comic book,
entitled "Pascagoula" and dedicated to one of the most known
alien abduction cases, which took place in 1973 in the United
States. It is penned by the comics illustrator and former
ufologist, Edoardo Morricone, who also wrote an introduction.

Published for the Teramo Comix 2002 exhibit held last weekend,
the booklet (46 pages, in limited edition) will not arrive on
newsstands, but in specialty bookstores only.

As usual, the UPIAR Book Service has purchased a certain
quantity of the publication for subscribers to the Italian
Center for UFO Studies (and to other affiliated associations),
which these may order for the price of 4.40 Euro (shipping
included) at www.upiar.com

[Collaboration by Edoardo Morricone and Marcello Pupilli]

As previously announced, the Italian Center for UFO Studies will
be present at the International Book Fair with its books,
monographs and periodicals, as a guest (together with other
associations) in a booth at the major fair of the Italian
publishing sector.

The fair will take place from 16 through 20 May at the Lingotto
Fair in Turin and will also be a good opportunity to meet CISU
members, UFO students and buffs, who are invited to pay us a
visit. For greater details, you may contact the C.I.S.U.
secretary at the usual telephone or Internet addresses.

Collaborators on this edition were: Giorgio Abraini,
Edoardo Morricone and Marcello Pupilli.
