This strikes me as a load of crap. I know no former military
people who couldn't put their hands on their DD 214s in just a
couple of minutes.

For one thing many of us carry a copy in our wallets.

For another many states provide benefits to veterans that
require the DD 214.

If you asked me, I could have pulled one from my wallet, and I
have copies of all the others from the various points of my
military service.

I find it difficult to believe that our multi-named friend
couldn't produce a DD 214 with a little more ease than he
claimed.

Just a thought.
