Shaeffer (if these are indeed his words) said no such thing as
you imply. He clearly means that his group does not make the
initial investigations of these claims, but concentrates on
those which have been proposed as unexplained.

You have deliberately changed, "front line", into "first hand",
something which has an entirely different meaning.

After you changed Schaeffer's words into your own, you then
announced that these words mean that CSICOP, "only deal[s] in
personal opinion", and, "doesn't engage in actual science."

I am curious as to what was going through your mind when you did
this?
