The "conspiracy theories" regarding 9/11 that I've had the misfortune to read about implicate various combinations of Israel, George Bush, Al Gore, the ACLU, or (naturally) BIll Clinton. If Greer or his supporters have been promulgating such vicious unsubstantiated nonsense, then they would deserve to be condemned. But it appears to me that all they've been doing is saying that the tragedy could have been avoided if circumstances had been different in certain ways (related to their own views on the way things ought to be). If that makes them exploitative conspiracy theorists, then just about everyone in the country would be, too.
