Unfortunately, I had to bring this mess to MUFON's attention.
Walt felt the file sale was OK. "They were his personal files."
I don't know why this is "OK" as no one gave their approval nor
was the abductee's approval sought. They were NOT his to sell.

They (MUFON) were/are not happy this has been carried to their
direct attention and fought this on several occasions.

Of course this most likely is true. Col. (Dr.) John (U.S. Army
Intelligence) Alexander had full access to the files from the
start. There are several other intelligence agents in NIDS,
also. I expect our government now has copies of these detailed
medical, psychological and hypnosis session files.

Tremendously so!!! They feel betrayed by MUFON and practically
the entire abduction research community as we do feel this is
just the tip of the iceberg. One can scarcely imagine the damage
that has been caused. It will set back abduction research many,
many years.

Wrong. Bigelow knew full well this was wrong to do. He saw no
signature of approval from anyone nor did he seek this
information. It was clear based on the file contents that this
was privileged information. To say this and allow anyone to buy
clearly unethically obtained files is to allow the power source
or driving force to exist within the transaction. John was the
catalyst but Robert was the energy behind the unethical
transfer.

I can and will answer detailed questions and will  provide
copies of the documents for all to read after MUFON is given a
reasonable but short time to act. When you see the messages from
John to others regarding this investigation, the file sale and
his lawyer's note to the KC lawyer's group that did attempt to
draw up a malpractice suit, you will see why this is now
appropriate. Confidentiality can and will be maintained but we
must do this to prevent this action from happening in the
future.

Wrong. This is too interesting and important to let die. You all
know so little of the details and the rest will shock your
senses and the revelation can be done in a respectful way. I
promise. You and the general public _must_ be made aware of this
so they are not further defrauded..

We shall see. They HAVE to talk to me to do so. Period.

We don't know. He apparently sold Debbie Jordan Kauble's file
and she was Hopkin's case.

NIDS people are employees of Robert Bigelow and they immediately
had access to the files by John's admission.

We shall see. this case is the proverbial Truth Test. All will
come down on one side or the other and I will see who I will
work with in the future. Keep watching.

We must all talk openly about these Ethics issues. Do any of you
know how MUFON's otherwise excellent Code of Ethics reads? Read
it. It is now a requirement for all in Ufology!!! MUFON must be
made to understand that all it's officers must follow it as they
do not now do so.

Personal rights of hypnosis subjects and abductees MUST be
respected and must come FIRST and the needs of investigators and
researchers SECOND.
