Museum, Research Center, or Just Another Tourist Trap!?


PART 1

"Deception in the UFO Capitol of the World!"

It has come to my attention that the International UFO Museum
and Research Center now has two, count them, two websites.

The original website, www.iufomrc.com, that was created by the
very talented Faeylyn Wylder, which has not been updated since
November 5th, 1998, and a new website, www.iufomrc.org, being
authored by Mr. Bob Bush.

Just what is the reason for having two sites? Well, it seems
that the IUFOMRC is undergoing major changes that need to be
looked into.

Since the resignation of Deon Crosby, Aug. 20th, 1998, the
Museum has been heading for a virtual crash. Why did Deon leave?
This is one of many questions that need to be answered. In the
wake of Deon's resignation, many things began to change in the
Museum's personel structure. On the morning of Oct. 28, 1998,
Laura Stephey, the Museum's Librarian, was fired for no reason.
On that same afternoon, Dennis Balthaser was told by Glenn
Dennis to sever all of his relationships with the Museum. Then
came yet another blow. On or around Nov.1, 1998, Faeylyn Wylder,
was stripped of her duties as webmaster, thus breaching a
contract that required 30 days notice by either Faeylyn or the
Museum to be terminated. Dennis Balthaser had written this
agreement and Glenn Dennis had read and signed the document.
Also the domain, which Faeylyn had paid for, and was in her name
with Internic was hi-jacked from her. All references to her as
the owner, registrant, and all access to the domain were erased.
This was accomplished by a mutual effort between the IUFOMRC and
the HostPros domain hosts.

Late last year, one of the board of directors from the Museum,
Max Littell, informed me that Deon's position of Director would
not be filled at that present time. Yet, they did hire an
"office manager", Mrs. Glenda Shafer, and made her "interim
director" who answers to the board of directors, Glen Dennis,
Walter Haut, and Max Littell.

My sources have informed me of "gestapo" like tactics that have
taken place at the Museum. Such as: personal U.S. mail to
volunteers being opened and re-directed elsewhere. Volunteers
being told not to discuss any of the internal business to anyone
outside of the Museum. All of the hard drives on the computers
at the Museum were combed through to see what Deon, Dennis,
Laura, and any other personel had written. Any e-mail left on
the hard drives have been read and privacy breached. Researchers
have been thrown out of the Museum Library that was donated to
the Museum by George Fawcett, the original owner of the
collection. He had given certain "historical ufologists"
permission to review his collection. I have been informed that
they will most certainly not set foot in the IUFOMRC again.

So just what is behind this shake down at the IUFOMRC? Could it
be that someone was getting too close to a "truth"? Or could it
be that outside forces are now in control of the Museum?
